Phillip Wallace

Phillip began his working career in a firm of London stockbrokers and was recruited by the owner to expand the tiny canned goods importer into an international business by diversifying into frozen foods. He was appointed as export director 3 years later and became managing director in 1980. During the 1980s he became the majority shareholder, buying founder Eric Muench’s shares over 5 years. He led continued year on year growth and specialised in export sales to the Far East. In 2006 he moved to the role of Group CEO and now oversees all Group trading activity, strategy and direction from bases in the UK and USA.

Colin Dicker

Colin joined Lamex in 1975 following a background at Lloyd’s of London insurance underwriting and investment management in stockbroking. Appointed a Director shortly thereafter with a brief to develop and oversee growth in the Company’s European imports whilst personally concentrating on a core group of strategic suppliers and customers. He became a significant shareholder during the 1980’s.

David Dalzell

David started in the food industry in 1990 working for Malton Food Group becoming their Trading Director in 1997. In 2006 he joined the Main Board of Lamex Food Group opening their office in Northern Ireland.

Mark Tompkins

Mark Tompkins joined Lamex in 1990, having previously spent 10 years in finance in the City of London. Mark established and developed the Company’s Frozen and Aseptic fruit business in the early 1990s, but left the Company in 1995 to further develop his specialist fruit knowledge. He returned to the Company in 2001 and has been responsible for developing Lamex’s global Honey and Juice businesses in addition to having overall responsibility for the Company’s IQF, Aseptic and Dried Fruit business. In 2006 he became a shareholder in the Group.

Mark Ryder

Mark started at Lamex in 1996 after having worked for Kraft Jacob Suchard for 8 years and prior to that, with MW Marshall, a financial broker in the city of London. On joining Lamex, Mark initiated the imports into the EU from both Thailand and Brazil. Based in the UK with responsibilities for EU poultry imports and management of the Thai office. In 2006 he became a shareholder in the Group.

Mark Barrett

Mark Barrett joined Lamex Foods in 1991 after graduating from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Joining Lamex as a trainee, Mark developed with the organisation and has been a strong influence in the growth of Lamex Foods Inc.. He became the Vice President of the US Division in 1997, the position he currently holds, and now is responsible for the day to day operations of the US office as well as maintaining his trading capacity. In 2006 he became a shareholder in the Group.

Steven Anderson

After working in International Logistics for 2 years, Steven Anderson joined L&M Food Group in the UK in 1986 and, in 1987, was transferred from the UK to the newly formed US division with a brief to bring the Group’s sales and logistics expertise to the US marketplace. He became the President of the US Division in 1990, the position he currently holds, and now has direct responsibility for the offices throughout the Americas, as well as Russia and China. In 2006 he became a major shareholder in the Group.

Paul Wallace

Paul began his career at the London Metal Exchange after graduating from Leeds University where he studied Business Management. He joined Lamex in 2006, operating in a newly formed division of the Group that focused on Juice and Juice Concentrates and Honey. After impressive early results he was made a director of Lamex Agrifoods in 2010 and was subsequently promoted to the Lamex main board in 2013. Paul is the current Head of Global Juice for Lamex and is based in the Miami, Florida office of Lamex Agrifoods.

Christine Hawkes

Following graduation from Exeter University, Christine Joined Deloitte Haskins and Sells to train as a Chartered Accountant. Following qualification, she completed one more audit season before transferring to the Corporate Recovery Department, where she worked for four further years. In 1989, she joined Lamex as Financial Director. Christine has lived in Switzerland, near Zürich, since 2003.

Joe Gabbitus

Joe started working for LAMEX Foods Europe in the Turnford office in 2009 having begun his career in the red meat sector with Silver Fern Farms and Anglo Beef Processors. Initially Joe was tasked with growing LAMEX’s red meat concerns in Europe and bolstering European purchasing for export markets, however, later branched out by leading LAMEX’s fresh poultry imports to the UK. Joe remains active in each of these areas today, he became a Director of LAMEX Foods Europe in 2017 and sits on the European board.

Ewald Hilferink

Ewald joined Lamex Foods Group in 2002 after having developed a career within the meat industry with several different companies in the Netherlands. Since joining he has significantly developed the import of raw and processed poultry products and became in 2012 a Director of Lamex Food Group Europe. He is responsible for leading the Dutch office and its team in all its activities on import and export.

Mark Grason

Mark Grason joined Lamex Foods Europe Limited from the Danone owned, Galbani Foods, in 1997. There his experience involved managing the commercial relationship with a number of UK retailers and this is a specialisation that has continued. Based in the Cheshunt office, Mark has responsibility for poultry imports, worldwide party food sourcing as well as management of the Thai office. He became a director of Lamex Foods Europe Limited in 2006 and participates in the management of the amalgamated protein division Europewide.

Conrado Salcedo

Conrado Salcedo graduated with a degree in International Business in 1999. He immediately began his career in international trade, working for Doux Frangosul amongst others. He joined Lamex in 2005 with the intention of opening an office for them in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Since that time, he has developed an experienced and multi skilled team to enable Lamex to consolidate its position in this constantly growing, challenging market.

Greg Olsen

Greg Olsen joined Lamex Agrifoods Inc in 2002 with substantial experience in the juice concentrate business. Greg has built the US honey division for Lamex. He works out of the Minneapolis office. Greg has become an industry expert, being the current president of the National Honey Packers and Dealers Association and is an alternate president on the National Honey Board. He has helped develop the True Source Honey programme.

James Absolon

James Absolon began his career in stockbroking in the City of London but in 1989 moved into the Food Industry. His initial engagement was with a company specialised in canned goods and nuts. James joined Lamex in 2008 and has spearheaded the UK sales of Honey, as well as IQF and dried fruits, beans and pulses to the UK industrial sector, working closely with Mark Tompkins as they developed the Europe wide Agrifoods business. He became a director of that entity in 2011.

Kyle Anderson

Kyle joined Lamex Foods in 2016, after receiving a degree in Economics from Miami University in Ohio. Working out of the Minneapolis office, he has directly overseen the management and growth of the US pork import and export business. Kyle also manages the Philippines business for Lamex, transforming into one of the largest export markets of Lamex USA.

Justin Tanguay

With a career that began in the food industry in 2009, Justin Tanguay joined Lamex Food Group in 2014 and currently leads the US Agrifoods division. His role involves the management of frozen fruit, vegetable, and juice sales across the U.S and Canadian markets, showcasing Lamex Agrifoods expertise in navigating the complexities of global supply chains and commitment to driving growth within these key territories.
