Lamex Foods China was formed in 2006 to provide commercial support for Group sales and purchases within China. The rapid and significant growth of protein requirement in the different regions and the explosion of modern food manufacturing plants in the past decade have made regular, daily price information and a technical presence in China absolutely essential. Our 20 years of experience in this region has stood us in good stead and we are currently one of the world’s largest private exporters of frozen poultry and pork to China and fully intend to maintain that position for the next decade. The office has quickly become one of the busiest of all our offices and the growth in sales in mainland China since we opened has been significant. Lamex exports of frozen poultry, pork and beef to China from the EU, South America and the USA number several hundred containers each month and Lamex Foods China has established itself as a leading procurement house for some of the world’s top processors.

Lamex Holland was opened in Dinxperlo, Holland in 1990 primarily to export frozen European fruit and vegetables.
In 1990 Henny Wisselink joined and began to build the company. Sales to Asia and the Middle East of frozen poultry, vegetables, pork and potato products helped significantly boost the company profile to a higher level.
A move to the new office in 2006 provided a platform for further growth, and new markets were opened up including Russia. At the same time, a new department was set up to start the import of frozen raw and cooked poultry products from third countries in line with the London office. More recently, this department was expanded to include vegetables, fruit-concentrates and honey.
With 22 dedicated employees, our goal is to give a full supply chain solution. Our professional back office is dedicated to supporting our customers in all areas including technical and microbiological control.
Lamex Holland continues to be a driving force for the Group in mainland Europe.

It is mainly used as a Logistics office to facilitate imports into China currently, but is expected to increase its own independent trading in the Far East.

In 1986, Lamex Foods Inc. opened in Bloomington, MN with a brief to assist its EU counterparts in the procurement of US beef. The ensuing beef trade restrictions forced Lamex to refocus its expertise, quickly becoming one the country’s leading exporters of protein and foodstuffs, pairing North American Suppliers with the vast global network of Lamex customers.
Our primary products include chicken, turkey, pork, beef, honey, juice concentrates, ingredients, fruit and vegetables. While Lamex has firmly established its reputation as a diligent and efficient exporter of many of these products to over 50 different countries worldwide, we are also becoming equally recognised for importing many of these products from approved suppliers from around the world.
In 2009 Lamex Foods Inc, was recognized for excellence in business by the Governor of MN, Tim Pawlenty.
